The change over contact has been designed with the movable contact at its center. When the coil is powered off, the movable contact and static contact are open, while the other static contact is closed. And when the coil is powered on, the movable contact moves which leads the open contact to close and the close contact opens.

All of the marked load current on the Clion relay shell is the resistive load if there is no specific state. The permissible current of inductive load should not go over the 30% of rated resistive load, permissible current of motor load should not go over the 20% of rated resistive load, the permissible current of light load should not go over the 10 % of rated resistive load, and the permissible current of the capacitive load should not go over the 5 % of rated resistive load when the device is working on the rated change over voltage. Taking the product reliability of practical use into consideration, Clion suggests the client to choose the contact load current value not over the 60% - 70% of product rated load steady-state current value.
